Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the MyoScan IQ educational platform, including the web application, iOS app, and Android app (the "Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the Platform.

MyoScan IQ is an educational Cardiac MRI resource designed for learning, revision, and reference for radiographers, MRI technologists, radiology trainees, cardiology fellows, and CMR professionals.

MyoScan IQ is:

• An educational and training resource
• A reference tool for Cardiac MRI concepts, protocols, and planning guidance

MyoScan IQ is not:

• A diagnostic system
• A medical device
• A substitute for professional judgement
• A substitute for local protocols or institutional policies
• A substitute for appropriate clinical supervision or training

MyoScan IQ provides educational content about Cardiac MRI. This content is not patient-specific medical advice.

You remain responsible for:

• Clinical decisions and patient safety
• Following local protocols and institutional policies
• Following scanner and manufacturer guidance
• Adapting educational material to your clinical circumstances
• Maintaining appropriate professional standards and supervision

To use MyoScan IQ, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate account information
• Keep your login credentials secure
• Use one account for your own personal use
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs through your account

You must not share your account credentials with others to bypass access restrictions.

Registered users without Full Access may currently access:

• The current Weekly Question
• The archive of previous Weekly Questions

The specific features available for free may change over time as the Platform evolves. Free access does not include premium educational content, simulators, or other Full Access features.

Full Access to the MyoScan IQ Web App is available as a one-time purchase of £14.99.

This purchase applies to the MyoScan IQ Web App only and does not include a purchase of, or entitlement to, the separate iOS or Android applications unless explicitly stated otherwise at the time of purchase.

"Lifetime Access" means continued access to the purchased Web App while MyoScan IQ is operated and supported, subject to these Terms and applicable law.

Payments are processed through Stripe. The total price payable will be clearly displayed before you complete your purchase.

Full Access to the MyoScan IQ Web App activates through our entitlement system once payment is confirmed. You do not need to take any additional action after completing checkout. This is not a recurring subscription and there are no recurring payments.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

MyoScan IQ provides immediate access to digital features and educational content following purchase.

Where the statutory rules relating to the immediate supply of digital content apply, before purchasing you will be asked to expressly request that supply begins immediately and acknowledge the effect this may have on your statutory cancellation right.

This consent is captured using an unticked checkbox that you must actively select. It is not pre-ticked and is not combined with any other consent.

• That this is not a recurring subscription

This information is presented on the purchase screen before you are redirected to Stripe checkout.

After completing your purchase, you will receive:

• Confirmation that your Full Access entitlement has been activated
• A payment receipt from Stripe
• A MyoScan IQ purchase-confirmation email recording the applicable Terms version and, where applicable, your consent to immediate supply of digital content and acknowledgement concerning cancellation rights

Please retain these communications for your records.

The current Privacy Policy and Terms of Use remain available through the MyoScan IQ website.

MyoScan IQ owns or licenses the educational content on the Platform. When you purchase Full Access, you receive a personal, non-transferable right to use the content for your own learning.

You must not:

• Redistribute, resell, or mass-copy the content
• Publish premium materials elsewhere
• Scrape or extract protected datasets
• Share your account credentials to bypass access restrictions

You may use the content for normal personal educational use.

MyoScan IQ allows you to create and save content, including CMR logbook entries, saved protocols, and anatomy annotations.

MyoScan IQ is an educational application, not a patient record system. We have not implemented an approved patient-data workflow.

You are responsible for the content you create and save. You retain ownership of your user content; we process it to provide the Platform's features as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may update, maintain, or modify the Platform for:

• Security updates
• Feature improvements
• Content updates and corrections
• Maintenance and bug fixes

We will not arbitrarily remove your purchased access. We will use reasonable efforts to maintain the Platform's availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

We may suspend or terminate access for genuine misuse, including:

• Sharing accounts to bypass payment
• Attempting to circumvent access controls
• Scraping or extracting protected premium content
• Unlawful use

Where appropriate, we may first contact you and give you a reasonable opportunity to remedy a breach before suspending or terminating access.

Immediate suspension or termination may still occur where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, serious misuse, unlawful activity or protection of the Platform or other users.

We will act proportionately and your statutory rights are not affected.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory consumer rights.

We are responsible for losses you suffer that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.

MyoScan IQ is provided as an educational resource. It is not intended to provide patient-specific clinical advice or replace professional judgement, local protocols, manufacturer guidance, institutional policies or appropriate clinical supervision.

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

Regardless of where you live, you may have additional mandatory consumer rights under the law of your jurisdiction that cannot be overridden by these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the Terms were last revised. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform or by email where appropriate.
